Asics GT-2150

The GT-2000 series has been the best selling running shoe in the country for 16 years now.  Thankfully, Asics doesn't change the shoe much year to year.  But, the GT-2150 may be the best version yet.  The shoe feels more cushiony (we think it feels as cushiony as most $140 shoes), yet, has a great price.  This version is also 1/2 ounce lighter than the previous model.  The area around the heel and ankle bones was dropped a little bit.  So, if you had some ankle irritation in the past, you can kiss those worries good-bye.

What we like: This is a great shoe at a great price.  If you want a stability shoe that is loaded with cushioning, look no further than the GT-2150.
