Women's Asics Kayano 16

The Kayano 16 continues to carry the original designer's name with pride.  Asics has redesigned this version to be more specific for each gender.  Men have a slighter firmer feel, while women have a softer Solyte midsole.  The women's version is also slightly more flexible, as women tend to be lighter-weight.  The midsole height under the heel and ball of the foot are also different for men and women, to try and alleviate the more-prevalent Achilles injury in women.

What we like: Asics is starting to engineer their shoes to be specific for men and women.  Men and women obviously have different shaped frames and feet, so you shouldn't simply change the size some and call it a woman's shoe.
