Strassburg Sock

The Strassburg Sock is another great tool to combat plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis. If you have problems with these first thing in the morning, the Strassburg Sock is a must.

Plantar fasciitis typically hurts first thing in the morning because most people sleep with their toes pointed down. When you step out of bed in the morning, the plantar fascia stretches too quickly, causing micro-tears. The sock consists of a tubular knit material that fits over the calf with two adjustable straps to keep the foot in a neutral to slightly stretched position, mimicing your foot's position when you stand. This greatly reduces early morning pain.

There are two different sizes for the Strassburg Sock: Regular and Large. Regular is for calf sizes under 16" around. Large is for calf sizes between 16 and 21 inches.
